Canadian Agency Launches Campaign to Lift America’s Spirits

Distraught about the presidential election? Put down that box of Kleenex and pint of Ben & Jerry’s Americone Dream ice cream, because Canada is sending some brotherly love thanks to Toronto-based creative agency, The Garden.

The campaign is a playfully called, “Tell America It’s Great” – a play on Donald Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.” At the heart of all this love is a minute-and-a-half video packed full of Canadians reminding the U.S. of everything that is already great, including charitable giving, national parks and civil rights movements.

“As their closest friends and neighbors, we thought it was important for us to do something to cut through the negativity and help remind them that no matter how bad things might seem, there are a lot of reasons to believe that America is still pretty great,” the Garden wrote in a Medium post titled, “A Friend in Need.”
